1. Consultation & 3D Scan

2. Coordinated Orthodontic Planning
Orthognathic surgery is often part of a combined plan with your orthodontist. In many cases braces are worn beforehand to position the teeth for surgery.
3. Jaw Repositioning Surgery
Performed under general anesthesia, the jaws are accessed through incisions inside the mouth and moved into correct alignment, then secured. No visible facial scarring.
4. Healing
Initial healing takes up to six weeks, with complete healing by about twelve weeks. A soft or liquid diet and clear aftercare instructions guide your recovery.
5. Finishing Orthodontics
Once the jaws have healed in their new position, your orthodontic treatment is completed, refining the bite into its final, balanced alignment.
